AR HealthNetworks is a healthcare benefits program designed specifically for small businesses and self-employed individuals who currently do not have medical coverage. The plan is available to working Arkansas residents who can qualify through their own businesses or their employer.
Many working people do not have health care coverage usually due to the high cost or because of pre-existing medical problems. AR Healthnetworks costs most enrollees just $25 and there are no medical questions or pre-existing condition penalties.
The program offers benefits such as, inpatient, and outpatient services, ER visits, doctor visits, and pharmacy coverage. The annual deductible on this plan is $100.
AR Healthnetworks is available to employers who have not offered a group health plan to their employees within the past 12 months or longer. All full-time employees must participate unless they are covered under another group plan. Participants must be between the ages of 19 and 64. There is a qualifying income level to participate in this plan.
