FEDERAL SUBSIDY

The attached premium subsidy chart helps identify if you are eligible for a premium subsidy. Subsidies are determined by your total household income and the number of individuals on your Federal tax return. Individuals with incomes in the first two columns are eligible for coverage under Arkansas Works. Individuals with incomes in the other columns are eligible for a subsidy on the Federal marketplace if they or their spouse are not eligible for group health insurance through an employer.

Health Insurance

Health Insurance is incredibly important because it protects you from paying the full cost of medical expenses. The cost of a visit to the doctor or emergency room can be overwhelming. On top of that, if you do not have health insurance, you will be required to pay a penalty for not being insured.

Additional Insurance to Consider

Beyond basic Health Insurance plans, there are additional insurances to choose from depending on your needs.
